Mike Walker is the Franchisee of Ceroc-Middlesbrough. He has been dancing modern jive for over ten years. He originally began dancing at Ceroc-Newcastle, became joint franchisee there for several years before moving on to start the franchise in Middlesbrough in 2001. Mike's 'real' career is running his own I.T. Business providing specialised support and development services to several BlueChip companies, mainly in the field of Process Control.

Freda Cook started dancing in 2002 also at Ceroc-Newcastle. She became a Taxi Dancer at Ceroc-Newcastle about six months after joining and has been on the Crew there since. Freda met Mike through Ceroc where they became dance partners, which was followed by becoming life partners and are now business partners too. Freda is a part-time lecturer in the School of Computing and Technology at the University of Sunderland.
